Friday Night Project....

First of all...

• Cook a really quick and easy dinner
• Eat dinner really fast
• Stay in work uniform because you are too excited to get changed
• Gather necessary tools, and a little helper

BEGIN...

Step 1 - Take photo of old ottoman for blogland to see... It's a storage ottoman

Step 2 - Remove old fabric from ottoman... by removing a million staples (with the help of your helper)


Step 3 - Sorry I didnt get photos....
Lay old fabric on top of new fabric and take a pattern from it

Step 4 - Sew corners for the top cushion, sew corners a few times just to make sure it's tight enough

Step 5 - Staple all fabric onto ottoman with staple gun borrowed from work

Step 6 - Reattach hinges using husband's scary man tool



Step 7 - Add finishing touches and pieces of whatever that stuff is on bottom of ottoman

Step 8 - Reattach feet to the bottom

Step 9 - Admire your work and be quite proud of yourself

Step 10 - Put your feet up and relax
